Garter Recomending Aginst BlackBerry

More bad news for BlackBerry. You didn't think it was possible, well guess again. IT analysis firm Gartner is suggesting all businesses to move away from BlackBerry and find an alternative in the next six months. Their recommendation is based on all the recent news surrounding the Canadian company.

BlackBerry lose in the second quarter were $965 million, they are firing half of their work force and the sales of their new smartphones are terrible. On top of all that, last week they announce they are selling the company for 4.7 billion dollars. Lot less then they were hopping for.

Official report from BlackBerry about Gartner recommendation is

"We recognise and respect external parties' opinions on Blackberry's recent news. However, many of the conclusions by Gartner about the potential impact of a sale or other strategic alternatives, are purely speculative."

Business users are recommended to move to another operating system like iOS, Android or Windows. Because hard times for BlackBerry are not ending any time soon, if they end at all. Most likely solution for the Canadian company is that it's going to be sold in pieces, but that's just rumors for now.
