Elon Musk Building Tesla Megafactory

If you ever wanted an electric car but the price just wasn't there, the car was simply to expensive for what it was offering. Lucky for you this shouldn't be a problem in a few years.

Elon Musk is expected to announce plans for building a megafactory that will build lithium-ion batteries used by electric cars like the Tesla Model S. Location of the factory will be in the United States but we still don't know in which state, somewhere in the south (Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada or Texas). The factory should be up and running by 2017.

At the moment Tesla Model S has a price of $70.000, but after the factory is build the price should go down to $35.000. Considering what the car is offering this should be a pretty good deal for anyone that is interested in a quality electric car.

Megafactory will have 6.500 workers which will definitely be a boost for US economy and a positive example how factories can still be build in the States.
